Operating principle of piston reducing valves

A reducing valve is an automatic valve which reduces the medium pressure to a certain value. There are two main kinds of reducing valves: piston reducing valves and spring diaphragm reducing valves.

A piston reducing valve reduces pressure by means of piston. A spring diaphragm reducing valve, however, realizes pressure balance by means of spring and film.

A ZJY46H reducing valve is a piston reducing valve and should conform to the production standard NB/T 35078-2016.
