What functions does a reducing valve have?

A reducing valve adjusts the medium flow by controlling the opening of the disc in the valve body so as to minimize the pressure. Meanwhile, it adjusts the opening of the disc by means of downstream pressure, so that the downstream pressure is kept within a range. The feature of a reducing valve is that the outlet pressure is kept within a certain range no matter how the inlet pressure changes.

A ZJY46H piston reducing valve is a pressure relief device specially designed for water supply systems operating in complex conditions. It regulates the pressure and flow by means of throttle cone and reduces the pressure by reducing the open area. When the inlet pressure of outlet flow changes, a reducing valve conducts automatic regulation by means of the energy of the medium itself to keep a stable pressure at the outlet.
